作者用一种含一定化学成分的弯曲菌限制培养基(CDM)对76株空肠弯曲菌(C.jejuni)及14株大肠弯曲菌(C.Coli)进行了3个月培养鉴定。发现尽管所有大肠弯曲菌生长不需要氨基酸,但空肠弯曲菌生长有51%需要一种氨基酸;7%需要多种氨基酸。对70株空肠弯曲菌分离株的试验结果表明,营养型与血清型或营养型与质粒携带均无关系,即营养型、质粒携带与血清型是三种独立的标志。
The authors identified 76 strains of Campylobacter jejuni and 14 strains of C. coli using a Campylobacter restriction culture medium (CDM) with a defined chemical composition. It was found that 51% of Campylobacter jejuni strains require one amino acid, whereas 7% require multiple amino acids, although all C. coli strains do not require amino acids for growth. The results of 70 strains of Campylobacter jejuni isolates showed that there was no relationship between vegetative form and serotype or vegetative form and plasmid colonization. That is, vegetative form, plasmid carry and serotype were three independent markers.
