本文通过对国际语音协会基本元音定义和功能的介绍,陈述了基本原音在外语学习,尤其是在语音学习中的重要性,旨在引起外语学习者给予基本元音应有的重视。基本元音是介于母语元音和目标语元音之间的一个联系纽带。外语学习者如果掌握了基本元音,就可以比较准确而高效地习得所学外语的元音和语音系统。笔者根据自己学习和教授英语的经历,结合中国英语学习者在习得英语元音时遇到的困难和常见的错误,建议把国际语音协会基本元音应用到外语学习过程中,同时简要阐述了学习和改进外语发音的方法。
In this paper, through the introduction of the definition and function of the basic vowels of the International Voice Association, the importance of the basic sounds in foreign language learning, especially in phonetic learning, is stated. The purpose is to cause the foreign language learners to pay attention to the basic vowels. The basic vowel is a link between the mother tongue vowel and the target vowel. If a foreign language learner has mastered basic vowels, he or she can more accurately and effectively learn the vowels and phonetic systems of the foreign languages he learns. Based on my own experience of learning and teaching English, combined with the difficulties and common mistakes encountered by Chinese English learners in acquiring English vowels, the author suggests applying the basic vowels of the International Voice Association to the process of foreign language learning and briefly expounding Learn and improve foreign language pronunciation methods.
