Metabolic syndrome is a syndrome of central obesity, diabetes or impaired glucose metabolism, dyslipidemia, hypertension, hyperuricemia and a series of metabolic disorders. The incidence of terminal events is high, especially cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events have been among the top three causes of death, which seriously threatens human health. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin with many functions. The relationship between its deficiency and metabolic syndrome has attracted attention at home and abroad. Whether supplementation vitamin D can improve the state of metabolic syndrome is inconsistent with the existing research conclusions. This paper mainly discusses the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and various components of metabolic syndrome (obesity, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia), and the effect of vitamin supplementation D on these metabolic diseases.
