The early liberation of large-scale nationwide takeover of the files of the old regime is the beginning of the archives in New China and the first major event. Chongqing and Chengdu took over the task of clearing the central files of the Republic of China. Under the care of Comrades Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping, great achievements were made and a glorious page was written for the history of archives in new China.
