Land reclamation in a metal mining area in the United States of Virginia in the United States impairs the poor quality of its waste ores and slime and the lack of phosphorus as two major limiting factors in restoring land productivity. According to the greenhouse pot experiment, the optimal ratio of the ore and the slime reorganized soil and the optimal dosage of phosphorus were selected to provide the basic information for the next field experiment and land reclamation project.
