被称为“完整地收藏了中国当代艺术”的大收藏家乌利·希克把自己收藏的共计1463件中国当代艺术作品赠予香港M+视觉文化博物馆。这批捐赠艺术品出自350位艺术家之手,包括张晓刚、岳敏君、方力钧、谷文达、黄永砯等现已公认的当代艺术大家,总价值近10亿元人民币。从捐赠规模和价值上说,这是国际上收藏家个人向单家博物馆所做的最大个人捐赠之一。而喝彩之外也免不了质疑的声音:“抛售”、“部分藏品不值得进入美术馆收藏”等诸多负面舆论接踵而至。
Uli Hick, the big collector known as “Completely Collecting Contemporary Chinese Art,” presented a total of 1,463 pieces of Chinese contemporary art he collected to the M + Visual Culture Museum in Hong Kong. The donated artworks come from 350 artists, including those now recognized by contemporary artists like Zhang Xiaogang, Yue Minjun, Fang Lijun, Gu Wenda, Huang Yongkuan, with a total value of nearly 1 billion yuan. In terms of the size and value of donations, this is one of the largest personal donations international collectors personally make to single-family museums. The applause also inevitably questioned the voice: “sell ”, “part of the collection is not worth to enter the museum collection ” and many other negative public opinion one after another.
