At the 2007 Amateur World Athletics Championships, 18 footballers who participated in the first round of 100m men’s sprinters were studied. The study found that the main difference between a sprinter with a score of 10.12-10.32s and a sprinter with a score of 10.40-10.90s was the step size. The study also found that the step widths of both players ranged from the first run of the race to the full run of the race Phase, step width from 0.39 ± 0.07m down to 0.17 ± 0.04m. The wide step width will most favorably gain a large driving force during the relatively long foot contact of the acceleration phase of start-up; however, the narrow step width will be the most relative Help to get a big driving force.
