文化自觉是文化发展的思想基础与前提,对文化转型自主能力的提高,对获得适应新环境、新时代文化选择自主地位有着促进作用。当前,在保护、发展少数民族特色村寨工作中引入文化自觉理念意义重大:第一,展现民族特性:特色村寨保护与发展的基础;第二:使特色村寨的主体群在“保护与发展”过程中更好地区分“他者”与“自我”;第三,在地区开发与发展模式中找到自身的自主地位,实现更好的自我发展;第四,处理好保护与发展之间的对立统一关系,促进少数民族特色村寨的科学、和谐发展。
