为获取亮度高、使用寿命长的场发射电子源,以具有宏观长度的定向单壁碳纳米管绳为研究对象,考察了测试样品对场发射电流的极限负载能力及其在高真空、大电流条件下的发射稳定性。研究结果表明,单根直径约100?m的碳纳米管绳即可负载高达1~3 mA的场发射电流;在恒压、大电流(约0.7 mA)情况下的稳定性测试中,样品仍表现出较高的发射稳定性,9 h电流衰退值为25%~35%,且稳定性随工作电压的降低而进一步改善;ZnO纳米涂层对碳纳米管绳发射稳定性有一定的改善作用。
