从世界第一所幼儿园创办至今,世界幼儿教育已经有一百多年的历史。一百多年的历史进程使幼儿园作为幼儿教育机构已经遍及世界各个角落。幼儿园本身也经历了发展和完善的过程。福禄培尔—幼儿园之父工业化开始以来,许多妇女也陆续从事职业活动。“我的孩子怎么办?”这个问题早在200多年前就已提了出来。为解决年轻母亲就业的问题,德国各地先后成立了托儿所,把职业妇女的幼儿看管起来,但还谈不上对他们的教育。
