近20年来,电镜的应用为白血病的病理诊断、分型提供了有力的手段,而近10年来,又由于电镜与其它技术的结合,诸如电镜与细胞化学、免疫标记等方法的结合,人们对一些白血病已能作出更早期诊断和更精细分型。因此电镜技术在白血病临床诊治、基础研究中具有一定辅助作用。
