Multi-vendor system remote maintenance using IP-based protocol server gateway can make effective use of funds. Remote access to multivendor environments over the Internet or corporate intranets raises other key issues. A single central gateway reduces access to the system and optimizes access protection and functional security when using appropriate configuration settings.
