纺织产业是江西奉新的主导产业。目前,奉新已落户纺织企业超过145家,其中规模以上企业24家,从业人员1.2余万人,形成了具有250万纱锭、年印染能力4万吨,年产各类纱线60万吨、涤纶短纤20余万吨、针织面料3万余吨、针织内衣10万件和各类服装100万件的现代纺织生产规模,“奉新纱线”区域品牌雏形显现。
