“地質知識”是在发展国民經济第一个五年计劃的过程中,隨着地質勘探事业的迅速发展,为了適应廣大地質工作的需要而成長起來的。过去兩年來,該刊得到了各部门地質工作者的重视和支持,因此在已出刊的各期刊物中,曾配合地質部的中心任务,向讀者初步地介紹了有關地質普查的基本知識、勘探工作經驗,以及鑽探、物探、化探、工程地質与水文地質等方面的問题与工作方法,同時也介紹了我国地質工作者在工作实踐中学習苏联先進經驗
“Geological knowledge” is developed in the process of developing the first five-year plan of national economy with the rapid development of geological prospecting in order to meet the needs of the vast geological work. In the past two years, the journal has received the attention and support of geologic workers in various departments. Therefore, in the published periodicals, in line with the central task of the Ministry of Geology, the journal initially introduced the reader to the basic knowledge of geological census, Exploration work experience, as well as drilling, geophysical, geochemical exploration, engineering geology and hydrogeology and other aspects of the problem and working methods, but also introduced China’s geological workers in the practice of learning the advanced experience of the Soviet Union
