用无损中子活化分析法研究碘致水稻枯萎病

据报道,低洼地水稻枯萎病是由于碘的毒性所致。这种病称为“Reclamation-Akagare”病,主要是在高地土壤稻田中引起的。其初期症状通常是在水稻移栽后的2—3周内,在叶片上出现小的坏死斑点。1974年以来,在日本新泻县Kurosaki镇碘分离工厂附近的稻田中出现了类似这种疾病的症状。为研究该病的起因,有必要测定水稻植株和稻田土壤中的碘含量。样品中碘的测定可以采用氧化还原法、库仑计量法和离子选择电极法。不过这些方法均需对样品进行适当的预处理,因而既费时又费事。中子活化分析也许是现在可以采用的最灵 It is reported that the lowland rice blight is due to the toxicity of iodine. This disease is called “Reclamation-Akagare” disease and is caused mainly in the paddy fields in the highlands. The initial symptoms are usually small necrotic spots on the leaves within 2-3 weeks after rice transplanting. Symptoms similar to the disease have emerged in paddy fields near the iodine separation plant in Kurosaki, Niigata, Japan, since 1974. To investigate the cause of the disease, it is necessary to determine the iodine content in rice plants and paddy soil. Determination of iodine in the sample can be redox, coulometric and ion-selective electrode method.
