热毒平灌服１ｇ／ｋｇ、２ｇ／ｋｇ、４ｇ／ｋｇ，对鹿角菜胶、鸡蛋清所致大鼠脚爪肿胀以及巴豆油所致小鼠耳肿有显著抑制作用，并能明显抑制醋酸所致小鼠扭体反应及腹腔毛细血管通透性亢进，但对于羧甲基纤维素囊中白细胞游走及棉球性肉芽组织增生无明显影响。热毒平还不影响小鼠ＲＥＳ对炭粒的吞噬及溶血素抗体的生成，但对ＳＲＢＣ所致小鼠脚垫迟发型超敏反应有明显抑制作用，上述结果表明热毒平有明显的抗炎、抗过敏作用。抗炎作用表现为对炎症早期的抑制，而对中晚期炎症无明显影响。
