不久,人民邮电出版社就要迎来它的40华诞了。这40年,我与之同行了31年。我时常在想,这40年的风风雨雨,40年几代人的奋斗,到底给我们留下了什么?今天,我们站在历史的新的起跑线上,又将以怎样的姿态和力度奔向未来?这是值得我们思索的。一、抓根本与赶“潮流”在办刊的时候,我们有一句常说的话,叫“紧跟形势”。这话仔细琢磨起来并不错,但掌握不好也容易搞偏了。很长一段时间,刊物文章的“穿靴戴帽”习以为常。文革期间,更发展到了大半本刊物转载“社论”的情况。出现这种现象主要不能怪编辑,因为他们大都也是违心的。可是,出版界“一窝蜂”、赶“潮流”的现象却是一阵接一阵的,一会儿是“人体艺术热”,一会儿又是“捧‘星’热”。有时热到忘了自己是什么出版社、什么刊物的程度。
