靖江外国语学校是一所九年一贯制学校,分为小学部和初中部,现有在校生五千余人。作为一所百年名校,其前身是1905年创办的靖江县高等小学堂,后改名靖江市实验小学。2004年,与原靖江外国语学校合并。合并后,前者优良的教学传统、优秀的教学队伍与后者优美的教学环境、优质的教学资源相得益彰。学校南临浩瀚的长江和雄伟的江阴长江大桥,东邻靖江新城区。2010年,学校顺利通过了江苏省教育现代化学校验收。
Jingjiang Foreign Languages School is a nine-year consistent school, divided into the primary school and the middle school. It currently has more than 5,000 students. As a 100-year prestigious school, its predecessor was the Jingjiang County High School Primary School founded in 1905 and later renamed Jingjiang Experimental Primary School. In 2004, it merged with the former Jingjiang Foreign Language School. After the merger, the former’s excellent teaching tradition, excellent teaching team and the latter’s beautiful teaching environment and high-quality teaching resources complement each other. The school is adjacent to the vast Yangtze River and the majestic Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge in the south, and is adjacent to Jingjiang New City in the east. In 2010, the school passed the acceptance of Jiangsu Education Modernization School.
