近十年来,我们从事过一项基础理论研究和四项应用技术研究,均取得预期的成果,并分别获得校级、省级和部级奖励。从我们的科研实践就应用科学研究中的理论思维问题做一些初步的探讨。一、拓宽知识面,打好研究工作的基础作为应用科学工作者,至少应当具有两个方面的知识,一是本专业及邻近学科的基础知识,二是哲学社会科学知识。应用科学是为提高社会生产力服务的,这不但要求从专业知识出发提出解决一个个问题的措施,而且要求了解社会,了解我国的国情,提出根据国家财力、物力、人力所能实际应用的技术措施。因此在具有自然科学知识的同时,还要求有社会知识、社会科学的广泛知识。一项有价值的应用科学研究成果,往往是自然科学与社会科学相结合的产物。笔者之一毕业于1957年山东农学院植保系,从本专业知识讲,基础还可以,但对邻近学科知识的掌
