The effect of polysaccharides and curcumin on the metabolism of lipoprotein (a) and asialoprotein lipoprotein (a) was analyzed. Mannan, chitosan, α - acid glycoprotein and curcumin were injected into armpit vein of hedgehog. The animals were sacrificed after 1 hour and the contents of blood, liver, kidney, spleen, bile and adrenal were measured. The results showed that lipoprotein (a) aspartic acid can enter a large number of liver, accelerate catabolism in the body, so that the blood concentration decreased rapidly. α - acid glycoprotein inhibits tissue uptake of lipoprotein (a) and asialo lipoprotein (a), resulting in a significant increase in serum lipoprotein (a) and asialo lipoprotein (a) levels. Chitosan and curcumin increased uptake of lipoprotein (a) by the liver and adrenal gland, slightly decreased blood lipoprotein (a) content but had no significant effect on asialoprotein lipoprotein (a) metabolism. Mannan increases spleen uptake of lipoprotein (a), decreases lipoprotein (a) content in the gallbladder, but increases uptake of asialin lipoprotein (a) by the kidneys and gallbladder and decreases adrenalin upregulation of asialoprotein a) uptake. The results suggest that lipoprotein (a) aspartate can accelerate the catabolism of lipoprotein (a), and sialic acid in lipoprotein (a) molecule plays an important role in the structural stability. Alpha-acid glycoprotein inhibits the metabolism of lipoprotein (a) and asialoprotein (a) while chitosan and curcumin promote the metabolism of lipoprotein (a)
