Energy Daily, 2014-09-26 The Scottish government said unconventional resources such as shale oil and shale gas development should be conducted under a rigorous regulatory regime. It said that under the influence of the relevant UK policy, this policy allows oil and gas companies to exploit hydraulic fracturing techniques in subsurface far below private housing when no sign-off agreement is signed.
