It has long been believed that the addition of deep new magma to the magma chamber is responsible for determining the petrological and geochemical characteristics of deep-diagenetic and volcanic rocks and an important factor causing volcanic eruptions. In the past, the fluid hydrodynamics of this supplement has been mainly directed toward the understanding of dry basic magmatic systems without considering the effects of gas release.
