近年来,各地乡镇陆续开展和建立政务公开制度,把乡镇政府及其部门的职能职责、办事依据、程序、时限、标准、责任追究和举报途径,群众普遍关心的热点、难点问题以及农村的重大问题,定期如实向社会和群众公开,使人民群众依法享有的知情权、监督权得到有效保障,促进各项工作逐步走上民主化、规范化和制度化的轨道,受到基层的好评,赢得群众的赞誉。但是,在推行乡镇政务公开中,一些地方也存在着一些不容忽视的问题,主要表现在:
