Nature is the major theme that many poets deal with to express their sorrow and joy, loneliness and happiness; to seek liberty and freedom; to escape the sqalor of real life; or to reveal truth and philosophy. Nature lures many poets into it. Not only is nature the kingdom of poeple’s pouring out their feeling, but also thc kingdom of beauty of all creatures——murmuring rivers, roiling hills, singing birds, and smiling flowers. Poets have endowed nature with life and merged themselves in it. Nature can purify souls and mould temperament.
