徐州汽车电器厂研制的 QD1215型汽车启动机于1988年12月28日在江苏省徐州市通过省级鉴定。QD1215型汽车启动机是解放牌 CA141型汽车的配套产品。该机为电磁控制机械传动,以单向滚柱离合器与发动机飞轮齿环啮合传动,其结构形式为封闭式,短时额定工作制的串激直流电动机。由江苏省汽车配件工业公司、长春汽车研究所等15个单位30余名代表组成的产品鉴定委员会一致认为:

The machine is electromagnetic control mechanical transmission, with one-way roller clutch meshing with the flywheel gear of the engine, and its structure is a series DC motor with closed and short-time rated working system.
