英语和汉语中都存在大量的动物词汇,由于受社会文化的不同,致使英语汉语词汇呈现四种关系:即英汉语的对应词指示意义基本相同,比喻的形象也大致相同;英汉语的对应词指示意义相同,比喻的形象部分相同;英汉语对应词指示意义相近,比喻的形象不同或相反;英汉语对应词指示意义相同,汉语中可找到与其相同比喻形象的其他指示词。本文将以动物名词为例从微观上对其进行分析研究看英汉词汇存在的差异。
There are a large number of animal words in both English and Chinese. Due to the different social cultures, there are four kinds of relationships between English and Chinese words: the corresponding meanings of English and Chinese are basically the same, and the images of metaphors are roughly the same. Corresponding terms of English and Chinese The meanings of the instructions are the same, the image parts of the metaphor are the same; the corresponding meanings of the English and Chinese counterparts are similar, the images of the metaphors are different or the opposite; the corresponding meanings of the English and Chinese words are the same, and the other demonstrative words of the same metaphor image can be found in the Chinese language. In this paper, taking animal nouns as an example, we analyze the differences between English and Chinese vocabularies by analyzing them from the microscopic point of view.
