现代临床药理试验及动物实验已证明补益药可有效治疗抑郁症且不良反应较西药少,往往能够在一种药物中提取出多种抗抑郁成分,体现了这些补益药化学成分的多样性及其药理作用的多靶点性。然而,和其他中药一样,补益药也面临着配伍成分多样,机理作用复杂,临床应用相对混乱的困境。同时,由于现阶段关于补益药治疗抑郁症的研究尚处于初期阶段,补益药治疗抑郁症具体的作用机制尚不确定,药物制剂的用量及最佳量效关系尚不精确,从药物中提取的抗抑郁活性成分尚不全面,药物的不良反应尚不明确等,这些问题都需要医药工作者在今后的学习工作中投入更多精力,通力合作,密切结合现代医学前沿技术,提倡创新思维,熟练实验操作,开拓眼界,拓宽研究范围,寻找更加安全高效的治疗抑郁症的方法。
