金丝小枣成熟前落果严重。据观察,采前落果率常达30％～40％左右,重者达70％以上。由于落果早,不但果实重量减轻,干制的红枣品质也差,表现为果形干瘪,果肉缺乏弹性,含糖量下降。落果自8月下旬始,直至采收,时间长达月余。而拣拾果甚费工时,时逢秋收、种麦大忙之际,更造成劳力紧张。为此,试图通过激素处理,减少采前落果,以达增进枣果品质,增加产量及节约劳力之目的。
