萨哈尔·穆吉(1963—),埃及当代著名小说家、翻译家、大学教授、女性主义者,出生于埃及首都开罗。开罗大学毕业后,她留校任教并深造,后分别获得英国诗歌硕士学位与美国诗歌博士学位,在西方文学尤其是英美文学研究方面有很深的造诣。创作方面,已出版多部长篇小说和短篇故事集。短篇集有《小女神》(埃及家庭图书馆,2005)、《梦女主人》(埃及家庭图书馆,2005),长篇小说有《大尔雅》(埃及黎巴嫩出版社,1999)、《努呢》(埃及新月出版社,2007)等作品。
Sahar Mughye (1963-), a famous Egyptian contemporary novelist, translator, university professor and feminist, was born in Cairo, Egypt. After graduating from Cairo University, she worked as a teacher and studied for further studies. She obtained a master’s degree in English poetry and a doctoral degree in American poetry respectively. She has profound accomplishments in the study of Western literature, especially Anglo-American literature. In terms of creation, he has published many novels and short stories. The short stories include “The Little Goddess” (Egyptian Family Library, 2005), Dream Host (Egyptian Family Library, 2005), Novels of Dayya (Lebanon, Egypt, 1999) (Egypt Crescent Press, 2007) and other works.
