洪仁虽为太平天国农民政权的重要领袖 ,但他跳出了农民阶级的窠臼 ,能与时俱进 ,热眼向洋寻求救国救民的真理 ,成为近代具有明显资本主义倾向的先进知识分子。他不但对宗教的引进和运用有着独到之处 ,而且冲破了中体西用的藩篱 ,主张器道并重、体用并进的全方位的对外开放。他提出了中国近代史上第一个最完备的以西方资本主义国家为蓝本的近代化规划———《资政新篇》 ,代表了当时向西方学习、对外开放思想的最高水平
Though an important leader of the peasant regime of the Taiping Heavenly King, Hong Ren-kong has jumped out of the stereotype of the peasantry. He can keep pace with the times and look to the outside world for the truth of saving the nation and saving the people. He has become an advanced intellectual with an obvious tendency towards capitalism in modern times. He not only has uniqueness in the introduction and application of religion, but also breaks through the barriers of the Central Government and uses the equal opportunities and the all-encompassing opening-up to the outside world. He proposed the first and most complete modernization plan modeled on western capitalist countries in modern history in China - the “new chapter in the administration of resources,” which represented the highest level of thinking of studying and opening to the outside world at that time
