答:五色梅别名马缨丹、如意草、七变花,为马鞭草科马缨丹属,常绿自立或半藤本状灌木。茎高1-2m,小枝四棱形,茎枝无刺或有下弯钩刺,全株被短毛。单叶对生,卵圆形或短圆形,两面有毛。花生于叶腋,由20-25朵组成伞形花序。花冠初开为黄或粉色,渐变为橘黄或橘红,后变为红色,故名五色梅。花期6-10月,果熟期10-11月。 五色梅常见栽培变种有:橙色五色梅、黄花五色梅、白花五色梅、玫瑰红五色梅等,有的几乎全年开花。
