乡镇企业产生于改革的年代,也在改革中兴旺发展。然而,在过去两年的市场疲软和经济滑坡,企业生产普遍不景气的情况下,刚刚诞生不久的四川省乡镇企业供销公司板式家俱厂则由于坚持确保产品质量,讲求经营信誉、灵活经营手段,开发适销对路产品,不仅扩大了省内市场,甚至远销省外,取得了良好的经济效益。1990年实现生产总值150万元,实现税收8.55万元,年人均工资达到2.000元。1991年元月24日,四川省委书记杨汝岱同志视察该厂时也给予了肯定和赞扬。
