金花茶Camellia chrysantha(Hu)Tuyama主产于广西南部,为世界稀有的珍贵观赏植物。其花冠金黄色,花瓣具透明蜡质,花姿多变,莹润绚丽,逗人喜爱。目前世界上所栽培的山茶品种多为红色、粉红色、紫红色、白色或红白相间,尚未有黄色的。唯其独树一色,别具风姿,它的发现曾引起国内外园艺工作者和鉴赏家的珍视,不少科研单位及园林部门争先引种,从而为山茶艺苑增添异彩。1979年我们在引种栽培中进行了各种繁殖,现将试验结果初步总结如下。
Camellia chrysantha (Hu) Tuyama mainly produced in southern Guangxi, the world’s rare precious ornamental plants. The corolla golden yellow, petals with a transparent wax, floral posture changeable, glittering gorgeous, cute. Currently cultivated camellia varieties in the world are mostly red, pink, purple, white or red and white, not yet yellow. Only its unique color, unique style, its discovery has aroused the treasures of domestic and foreign horticulturalists and connoisseurs, many scientific research units and garden departments first to introduce, so as to add radiance to Camellia. In 1979 we introduced in the cultivation of a variety of breeding, the preliminary test results are summarized below.
