I. Introduction The GC-4 (40CrMnSiMoA) steel used for aircraft landing gear often produces welding defects in production. In order to ensure the flight safety, the life of GC-4 welded landing gear is calculated by fracture mechanics. This article complements the fatigue analysis of the GC-4 steel welded landing gear by providing fatigue test data required for the life of the GC-4 welded landing gear.
