In an open market environment, any competing entity, from big to small countries, to small businesses, and having a large number of intellectual property rights, will largely determine the strength of its competitive advantage. After half a century of eight rounds of multilateral negotiations, the tariffs of developing countries have now fallen to around 13% in the World Trade Organization.
