最近一段时间,在联想移动位于厦门的工厂附近总有一些卡车停在那里,而且一停就是好几天.这是代理商在排队等着拿货.从去年11月到现在,联想移动一直处于“欠单”状态.“年初大家觉得今年的表现肯定会比以前好,但能有今天的局面仍然是意料之外.”虽然联想移动总经理刘志军并没有感到丝毫的轻松,但“需求过旺,产能不足”的“窘境”却是联想移动成立三年来最让他乐于面对的困难.“,”You can see many trucks stopped outside a plant of Lenovo Mobile in Xia'men recently. According to a study of SINO,the market share of Lenovo cell phones is 6.42%,larger than Bird and Sony-Ericsson by October this year.Its ranking has been No.4 from No.6 since August. Though Lenovo entered the market later,it made profit in its first year by OEM and ODM.It was unexpected result for Lenovo.But just after that,Lenovo met a sudden difficulty that represented a real test for the company.Lenovo quickly stopped OEM business and began self devel- opment of cell phones.At the first,new product release was postponed.The temporary supply short- age of its own brand cell phones resulted in sharp decline of sales and loss incurred.After the new product was postponed for 7 months,its first self- developed product was introduced and quickly be- came the bestselling cell phones in the market.This marked the success of its transfer of product strategies. Now among Lenovo Mobile products,80% are its own brand cell phones and this greatly differs itself from other domestic cell phone producers. The rising of Lenovo Mobile helps its diver- sification strategy be partly success.After spending too much on the Internet business and IT service.Lenovo became more mature and reason- able when it started cell phone business.
