1989年春天,我精心莳养的君子兰抽出两箭,着花42朵(第一箭着花24朵,第二箭18朵),同时还萌生了两只脚芽,我心里美滋滋的。可好景不长,花期过后不久,新生叶片出现紊乱现象,有尖叶的、弯叶的,也有重迭的,大小不一,株型面目全非,同时也改变了君子兰叶片两侧对生的习性,成了杂乱无章的混生状态,完全失去了观赏价值。为了找到原因,我继续精心莳养。1990年春又抽生一箭,着花16朵,并出现夹箭现象,基部萌生了5只脚芽,其叶片均生长正常,而母株花后新生叶片仍然杂乱无章。我一气之下将它从盆中倒出,在准备分株时发现这棵君子兰的根系特别发达,除有几根腐烂外,其余都很健壮。只是由于瓦盆的深度不够,根须呈弯曲状生长,几乎布满整个花盆(遗憾的是,当时忘记数一下共有多少根须)。待我把萌生的5芽分离后,便把这棵君子兰的叶片
