以江泽民同志为核心的党中央十分重视党的建设,全党抓党建的大气候已经初步形成。在这种大好形势下,迎来了中国共产党成立七十周年的光辉节日。七十年的战斗历程,证明我们党是伟大的、光荣的、正确的,是有战斗力的。回顾党的历史,联系国际国内形势,我们必须清楚地认识,要建设有中国特色的社会主义,必须坚持把马克思主义普遍真理同中国革命和建设的具体实践相结合,努力提高全党同志的马克思主义理论水平。党建理论工作者要花大力气进行党建理论的研究和宣传,这是改革开放条件下加强党的建设的一项基础工作,也是摆在全党面前一个十分重大而紧迫的任务。党的十一届三中全会以来,邓小平同志多次指出,在新的历史条件下,要坚持“两手抓”,改变“一手硬、一手软”的状况。但是,由于众所周知的原因,前几年淡化党的领导,削弱马克思主义理论的研究和宣传,导致了资产阶级自由化思潮的泛滥,造成了极大的思想混乱,成为发生1989年动乱和北京反革命暴乱的一个重要原因。历史和现实的经验告诉我们,政治上出问题,往往是从思想发生混乱开始的,而思想混乱又常常是
