Objective To study the effect of different methods of suture on anastomotic stenosis after resection of esophageal cancer. Methods From June 2008 to May 2010, a total of 180 patients with esophageal cancer were treated, and the patients were divided into treatment group and control group with 90 patients in each group. Patients in the treatment group received improved anastomosis at anastomotic suture. Patients in the control group were treated with conventional anastomotic suture, all of which were treated according to clinical norms. After the two groups of patients completed the surgery, the same care for patients. Results After the resection of esophageal cancer, swallowing disorders were found in 2 patients in the treatment group and 5 patients in the control group during the nursing phase. In the 2-year follow-up, there was no anastomotic stenosis in the treatment group There were 21 patients with anastomotic stenosis in the control group. Conclusion In the process of esophageal resection, the use of improved suture, which can effectively improve the clinical effect of treatment and reduce complications. Therefore, the modified esophageal anastomosis has important application value.
