According to the “Pearl River Basin Flood Control Planning Outline” promulgated by the Zhujiang Committee, Pearl River Commission Hydrology Bureau undertook the course “The Summary of the Hydrological Characteristics in the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Dongjiang River in the Northwest and the Preliminary Study of Flood Law in the 1990s.” This subject analyzes and summarizes the abnormal weather in the Pearl River Basin and the underlying surface changes in the middle and lower reaches of the Pearl River Basin since the 1990s mainly through investigation and discussion and analysis of measured data.
