“The King and the Mother” in the Chu Bamboo Slips of the Warring States Period in Shanghai Museum (6) describes the story of Yan Zi’s persuasion of Qi Jinggong. The content is found in the handed down documents such as Yan Zi Chun Qiu and Zuo Zhuan. The existing bamboo slips are mostly missing 1/4 part. This article compares the bamboo slips and the handed down from the world, bamboo slips missing text, prove the organizers of the bamboo slogan speculation is credible. On the basis of this, a new compilation of bamboo slips has been carried out and the individual sentences that are difficult to understand are briefly explained. At the same time, it is found that in the process of copying the bamboo slips from the previous generation to the present, the order of the key words in different versions appears different, which leads to the obscureness of the reference of the series.
