本文论述了美国当代女剧作家玛莎·诺曼的处女作《出狱》中针对女性的语言暴力。该剧中的语言暴力主要有“侮辱性的语言暴力”和“微妙的语言暴力”两种。这两种语言暴力在“驯服”女性、使其被社会化的过程中发挥了重要作用。诺曼所揭露的男权在语言层面上对女性的压迫与辖制,体现了她的思想深度及其戏剧探索的广度和深度。
This article discusses the language violence against women in the debut act of Martha Norman, a contemporary American playwright. There are two main types of language violence in this drama: “insulting language violence” and “subtle verbal violence”. These two kinds of language violence have played an important role in “socializing” women by “taming” them. Norman’s oppression and control over women at the language level revealed the depth of her thinking and the breadth and depth of her dramatic exploration.
