Of the 105 aluminum factory workers in India and 20 residents in a endemic fluorosis area, the assessment of skeletal and joint fluorosis changes was evaluated. The average age of workers is 51.2 years and their average exposure to fluoride time is 18.2 years. Skeletal changes in aluminum factory workers show the same characteristics as endemic fluorosis. In occupational fluorosis, these changes are less than local fluorosis. Systemic osteopetrosis, changes in bone structure and periosteal reaction, is the most common features of skeletal fluorosis; ossification of the interosseous membrane and muscle attachment is non-characteristic.
