经常化验锅炉水,可以及时分析锅炉内的水质情况。它是监督机车锅炉水处理的必要手段,是防止腐蚀、减缓水锈生长速度的重要措施。化验时,检验锅炉水碱度的目的是监督是否会发生腐蚀或苛性脆化;检验含氯量的目的是衡量锅炉水的浓缩倍数和是否会析出结垢物,粘附在锅炉板上形成水锈。我段地处厦鹰线中段,使用江河地表水,水中含氯量比较少(仅1~2毫克/升),但水受消毒余氯的影响,含氯量有显著的变化。为了指导软水作业,在多年实践的基础上,经过研究和试验,制成SZ-81锅炉水
