党的十三届四中全会以来,以江泽民同志为核心的党中央对党的建设十分重视,多次强调加强党的建设的必要性和重要性.中央国家机关是贯彻执行党的路线、方针和政策的首脑机关、指挥机关,党的建设抓得如何直接影响到党的路线、方针和政策的贯彻执行.最近几年,地矿部机关在党的建设方面做了大量工作,取得了一定成效.使党组织的战斗力得到加强,党员伪先锋模范作用有了更好的发挥.但从微观看来,党的建设还需要进一步的重视和加强.概括起来要着重抓好以下几个方面:
