雅虎杨致远、英特尔周松林和台湾积电张忠谋三华裔上榜以敢说、创新而著称的科技刊物Upside(www.upside.com)在今年的最后一期杂志中公布了1998年度IT界的100名“精英”(Elite 100)名单,雅虎创办者之一——杨致远、台积电董事长张忠谋与英特尔企业技术、制造部门副总裁周松林(译音)三位华裔分别荣登“前瞻者”、“半导体”及“幕后英雄”类榜。自1996年开始,Upside杂志每年都会从产业界及媒体界所推荐的名单中,选出16类100位当年度IT世界里最具影响力的人士。在这16类榜中,除了“半导体”、“软件”、“硬件”、“通讯”、“因特网”和“数字娱乐”等按照各产业所划分的项目外,还包括:“巨人”、“远见者”、“博学者”、“幕后英雄”、“明日之星”等超越产业的类别其中,“巨人”(Titan)榜由于入选的要求是“对整体科技
Yahoo Yang Zhiyuan, Intel Zhou Songlin and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Zhang Zhongmou, a Chinese tech publication known for dare to speak and innovate, Upside (www.upside.com) announced the 100 IT circles in 1998 in the last issue of this year’s magazine.
