At noon, I received a phone call, and the People’s Daily inside China informed me with Director Wu of the Traffic and Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security that both of CCTV’s comments today went to Shanxi to interview overloading of road freight. Since I interviewed Shanxi several times in recent years, I knew more about the overload situation in the province. So, letting go of the phone call, I fell into the memories - heavy coal car, such as a snail crawling, emitting a heavy pollution exhaust, pedestrians hiding roadside fled. Traffic jam is “commonplace.” It was 1997, when I went to Guangling Interview in Datong, blocking the day and night at Yanmen Gate, thirsty and hungry again. Local people took the opportunity to send “traffic jams,” with a glass of water at 10 yuan and an egg at 5 yuan.
