羌活鱼俗名娃娃鱼,学名山溪鲵Batrach-uperus Pinchonii(David),系高原山区特产的两栖纲有尾目脊椎动物。我国产区不广,国外未见有关此动物之报道,是较少用的一种动物药,故许多药书皆未列入。但在藏族地区民间和我们的试用中,深感此药对肝胃气痛,胃寒痛等有较好的疗效,尤其对那些胃痛久治不愈、长期服药无效的某些患者和胃溃疡的患者,常常有不可思议之功效。也可用于治疗骨疼、腰痛、关节痛、骨折伤等症,对恢复病后体弱,强壮身体,也有疗效。为了深入地探讨和更合理地进行药物利用,本人不揣学浅识薄,在学习的基础上,将有关此药之形态、采集、加工、用途等简述于后,供同志们参考。
