当今,生物技术对卫生、制药业、化工业以及环境技术有着非常重要的影响。同时生物技术对能源产业也起着重要的作用。第一方面,人们对地壳深部形成燃料的主要化学溶剂有了更深刻的认识。第二方面,生物能源的合成和从可再生资源中实现了对碳的俘获。对这两方面技术的关注曾经盛行,20世纪70年代开始走下坡路,但是现在人们对生物技术又恢复了关注和投资研发,由于基因技术和生物工程技术的迅速发展使该技术得到了振兴。本文阐述了生物技术在能源业的应用情况及应用潜能.展望了该技术对能源业现在和未来发展的影响。
Today, biotechnology has very important implications for the health, pharmaceutical, chemical and environmental technologies. At the same time, biotechnology also plays an important role in the energy industry. In the first place, people have a deeper understanding of the major chemical solvents that form fuel in the deep crust. The second aspect is the synthesis of bioenergy and the capture of carbon from renewable resources. Concern over these two technologies has prevailed and began to decline in the 1970s, but attention and investment in biotechnology have now resumed, and the technology has been revitalized thanks to the rapid development of genetic and bioengineering technologies. This article describes the application and potential of biotechnology in the energy industry and looks at the impact this technology has on the current and future development of the energy industry.
