ISO recently released ISO 10808: 2010, “Nanotechnology - Characterization of Inhalation Toxicity Tests of Nanoparticles in Inhalation Exposures” to support nanoparticle inhalation toxicity testing to ensure consistent and reliable testing results worldwide. The new standard, ISO 10808, takes into account nanoparticle properties and potential hazards and has established a suite of monitoring systems for inhalation toxicity testing chambers, including a different flow analysis system
